Cherry Allen Interview!

Cherry Allen

Welcome yum-tastic Cherry Allen to the blog!

Tell us about yourself in fifteen words or less.

I’m Mom to a 15-year-old girl, and a professional writer. Boring but reliable!

How do you define “erotic”?

Something erotic turns me on, whether it contains explicit sex or just anticipation and lust. I like both. What I find erotic probably won’t do much for some people, and vice versa. It’s kind of like terrific, horrible, terrifying, exciting–the words all mean something different to each person.

What makes erotica different than other genres (besides the knockage of boots)?

There’s no pretension. It’s there to turn you on. The goal of a detective story is to figure out whodunit. A horror story means to scare you. Erotica means to make your nether parts tingle, or make you feel sexy or even nostalgic for a particular experience. The goal is sex, sensuality and passion, with no need to pretend there’s a bigger message (though there certainly can be).

Where do you find inspiration for your work?

Every fantasy I’ve ever had! I’ve always been a big fantasizer, even as a kid. I have a vivid imagination, so I don’t really need much outside inspiration.

What sets you apart from other erotic work out there?

I think every writer brings something different to his or her stories. Each writer’s voice sets him or her apart, as well as the topics and subjects covered. I like to write dubious consent, rape fantasies and things that skirt (or wallow in) the taboo. Lots of other writers do these kinds of stories, too. But we each have our own voices and ways of handling the topics.

Pick one of your erotic works–if it were made into a movie, who’d play the various characters and why?

“Worship Daddy’s Cock” is the first in my Daddy’s Sex Slave Series, with only two characters active in the story. Greg is the step-father who was always treated poorly by his step-daughter, Amber. Now Amber wants a favor, and Greg knows just what to ask for in return. I’d have a hard time choosing, since there are so many handsome older men and so many pretty young starlets I’d love to see in sexual situations (I can’t help it). A slightly younger Scarlett Johansson, or someone like Mila Kunis, maybe. And casting Greg, the step-father who wants a sex-slave for the summer, Hugh Jackman please and thank you! (Is it getting hot in here?) He should be cast in anything and everything sexy, period.

Where can readers connect with you and find your work online?

My website is, and I also have a Twitter @CherryAllenPorn. I announce new releases at both. My titles are available a variety of places online, like Amazon, Smashwords and  I also post every other Sunday at One Handed Writers.

*Wild! Question: What character that you’ve created in your erotic works do you relate to the most?  Why?**

I had to give this some thought. I’m actually most like Barb Nelson from “Hot Teen Next Door.” She’s been married to the same man for a while–a man who’s taken to watching the 18-year-old girl next door when she leaves her drapes open. Barb picks up the habit, too. Eventually they discover each other’s voyeuristic ways and a little group sex ensues, but she has a few moments of horror over the idea of getting caught. The embarrassment of having kinky fantasies is something I (and probably most people) can relate to!
