So if you’re a fervent follower of mine, you know that other than slinging erotica, I have an affectionate place in my heart for things of a geeky nature. I kick ass at Rockband, me and Mr. VW are counting down the days to 2012 SDCC, and Fox is still in the dog house for cancelling Firefly.
So imagine my tickled pink surprise when I stumbled across the lovely Trixie Cox! She mixes geektastic with smut and the end result is gold.
Welcome her to the blog!
Welcome, Trixie! Describe yourself in three words or less.
Geek, creative, naughty pants (two words I know :)).
What made you go the erotic route over a more mainstream, *cough* respectable *cough* route?
To be frank, the green. I knew there was money in it, and who doesn’t like money?
But the more I wrote, the more I discovered that I actually had fun creating characters and fun situations and letting my geek flag fly while also dishing out a hefty serving of xxx.
Do you use a pen name? If so, how did you come up with it?
I use a pen name. I have a pretty vanilla day job and am in the ‘closet’ as it were. I came up with my name based on my favorite character from Deadwood and the last name is a variation of the thing I love most in the whole ‘verse.
Tell us a little about your latest release.
My latest release is called Unconventional Lover. It’s about two young geeks who meet at a charity auction at a con and fall madly in lust. Lots of geek references and sexy sexiness…and only 0.99!
Cindy Keller is certain that she’ll find the geek that’ll make her toes curl at Comic-Con. What she doesn’t expect is the hot guy in the Bat suit showing her a good time, in and out of the bedroom.
Trevor Banks is used to toning down his geeky interests, until he decides to do a geek auction. When he sees the beautiful girl in the cyber-punk cosplay, knows that he has to get to know her—her favorite Doctor, comics…and the sounds she makes when she comes.
Unconventional Lover (Geek Erotica Series, #1) contains explicit sexual content, including sex in a TARDIS. All characters are 18+ and this title is for adult audiences only.
